In order to reach the Jorullo viewpoint, tourists must first cross a 200-meter-long suspension bridge at an elevation of 100 meters. They will then reach a bar where they can have a drink and enjoy the stunning view.

On top of this, he highlighted how Jorullo’s viewpoint would also be beneficial for the people living in the area as it would help create new job opportunities.
At the moment, there are already 150 young people working in the Canopy Ecotourism park, most of whom reside in nearby areas.

The Canopy Ecotourism Park is a humongous complex offering a variety of activities for all types of travelers.
One of the most popular experiences offered here is the many zip lines connecting mountain to mountain. The park features eleven zip lines to choose from, giving tourists the chance to fly over the park and see this breathtaking natural area from a unique perspective.
The zip-line tour also includes a mule ride of approximately 15 minutes, a walk over the longest vehicular suspension bridge in the world, and even a tequila tasting! But this is just one of the many activities offered by this park.
People enjoying adrenaline boosts can opt for the so-called ‘river expedition’. This activity consists of exploring the river in an inflatable raft, with prices starting from $80 for kids and $109 per adult.
Similarly to the zip-lining experience, the river exploration is just a small part of this tour. This, in fact, consists of the possibility of zip lining, crossing the famous hanging bridge, enjoying a mule ride, and more.
Lastly, Canopy Ecotourism Park also offers tourists the possibility to join a ‘Party in the Mountain’ experience. The aim of this unique activity is to introduce Americans and other foreigners to the authentic lifestyle of the inhabitants of the Jalisco region.
Visitors will become acquainted with local customs and traditions while taking a 40-minute trip upriver through rural areas.
Once visitors arrive at the party site, they will enjoy 50 minutes of traditional games and delicious local food while getting as many drinks as they want from the open bar.
The party ends with a 45-minute live Mariachi dancing horse show. The tour lasts approximately three and a half hours, plus the transfer times.
Some of the other popular activities in the park include hiking, ATV tours, horseback riding, and much more.
Visitors will also get the chance to visit the Los Coapinoles restaurant, which features a great variety of typical Mexican food, including fresh fish from the area, seasonal fruit, and hand-made tortillas.
Activities range from $430 to $100 per person depending on the type of experience travelers purchase, while access to the new Jorullo viewpoint is $100.
