The Riviera Nayarit is growing in popularity as one of the most popular hubs for luxury travel in the Mexican Pacific thanks to massive new resorts scheduled to open in the sun-soaked region over the coming years.

Situated north of Puerto Vallarta, the Riviera Nayarit encompasses dozens of smaller destinations and miles of stunning beaches that form the perfect backdrop for luxury accommodations.

A number of major International firms, including Meliá and Iberostar, have announced new undertakings in the exclusive destination.

ZEL Sayulita

Slated to open in early 2025, ZEL Sayulita is a new hotel brand resulting from an agreement between Meliá, a leading international resort firm and Rafa Nadal, a Spanish tennis superstar.

The 145-room resort will be built in Sayulita, a village on the Mexican Pacific coast known for its quaint houses and verdant nature. Bringing a Mediterranean touch to the powdery beaches of the Mexican Pacific coast, ZEL Sayulita will be a hub for adventurous travelers seeking a high-end retreat.
