The Puerto Vallarta International Airport is breaking records this year with an unprecedented surge in arrivals.

More than 6 million passengers arrived in Puerto Vallarta in 2023, and the year-end numbers are expected to surpass 6.5 million, setting a record-breaking benchmark. 

During November, the airport reported a 3.7% increase compared to the same period last year, according to data from the Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico (GAP).

Puerto Vallarta International Airport welcomed 591,400 passengers in November alone, up from the 570,100 recorded in the same month last year.  

For the first 11 months of 2023, the airport hosted 6,089,600 passengers, a substantial 9.9% increase over the same period in 2022.  

Puerto Vallarta is on track to shatter its own annual record, especially considering that December, historically a very busy month, is not yet included in these numbers.
